Tours

Special educational visits for students and adults can be arranged through the AMOCA front desk at 909-865-3146 or by email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Docents will lead your group (minimum of six persons) through the historical, biographical and technical aspects of the current exhibition. Relevant advance materials and lesson plans will be supplied for classroom use.

Parking

We have plenty of parking available free of charge at our new location in our private parking lot.

Visitors with Disabilities

Wheelchair Access

AMOCA has wheelchair access and handicap parking for those with handicap permits. Our handicap bathrooms are in the part of our museum currently under renovation, but are useable durring this renovation - please excuse our dust. Just ask at the front desk and we'll be happy to show you how to get there (it's easy) as signage isn't in place yet.

Deaf & Hard of Hearing Access

We will be happy to print out our audio tour information for you - just ask at the front desk. Unfortunately, we do not yet have sign language interpreters for tours, if you or someone you know would like to volunteer to be on call for this need please email us ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Visually Impared Access

For those with limited or impared vision, we have an audio tour that is available via Guide by Cell. For our guests who are blind, we can have a member of our staff walk the tour with you and describe things to you, however it is very rare that we have peices available for tactile tours given the delicate nature of most of our peices. Please contact us ahead of time to arrange for a staff member to go through the exhibit with you.

Directions

By Car:
From the 10 Freeway, exit Garey Ave. continue south about 1 mile. The museum is on the right side of Garey between Center St. and Monterey Avenue, before going under the railroad tracks into the Arts Colony and Downtown. We are located directly across the street from the Pomona YMCA. Parking is available in our private lot.

My Metrolink Train:
AMOCA is within walking distance of the South Pomona Metrolink station, located on the corner of 1st and Main St.  From the station, head North on Main St. and turn East on Monterey St. Our entrance is located adjacent to our parking lot.

By Bus
AMOCA is easily reached by public transit. We are located just one block north of the Pomona Transit Station (just walk north on Main, East on Monterey) and the Foothill Transit Bus #291 stops directly outside of our building (just walk around to enter from the parking lot).
